SKSE "How do you get this to work?"

I have been trying for a week to get SKSE to work. I get the error that SKYUI can't find the SKSE file. I know its located int the right place (same directory as my TEVA file) I can get steam to launch from the SKSE_loader but when I getr in game it says it can't find it - what am I doing wrong?

TEVA file? not sure I know what you mean..
It needs to be in the Skyrim directory.. then you launch it from SKSE_loader as you said.

Steam should already be running before you launch the loader. With steam running, launch SKSE_loader.exe and Skyrim will load without the default loader coming up.

I had set my SKSE_loader.exe to run in administrator mode to get it to work for some reason, so if you're doing everything right and it's still not working, you could try that.

Sorry meant TESV app for launching SkyRim(steamapp/common/skyrim)
TESV and SKSE_loader are all in the SKRIM folder.

Ican launch from NMM (nexus mod manager) or SKSE loader - it all works fine but once I get in game and bering up items it shows the error message SKYUI can not find SKSE - SKYUI will not work properly. "It's the standard glitch everyone gets". I just haven't figured out how to get SKSE to work properly.

I can verify that is a problem...you must have administrative rights for SKSE to work.
See my other post about this: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...83&postcount=5

True, I did not realize that is was from a year ago.
However, I did add something new...see the post I linked to. (you must have administrative rights) -- someone may need to know that, if they find this thread and want an answer.

Besides, you just bumped it yourself (and so did I, again)...

I found the information interesting, and didn't know of the problems. Learn something new everyday

No harm done.
