Fan patch

Will the fan patch work with the steam version and how to install it.

i've used it with the steam version and it works like a charm.
but you can't play online with people who don't have the patch installed as well...different version problems and all.

Ive tried installing patch here- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Titan Quest Immortal Throne

But it wont install saying software not found

i am not using any mods so i dont get it

i tried putting the fan patch launcher in the titan quest immortal throne folder and then launching but still gives me the software not found. So maybe vista does not recognize the pathway but i no its just the wording of the file that is screwing this up

OK fixed it hears the solution. You have to verify the integrity of Titan Quest Immortal Thrones game cash through steam. Then place the fan patch installer in the Titan Quest Immortal Throne folder and run it. This will stop the error of the patch trying to find the pathway and giving you the empty directory box that asks for you to fill in the right pathway then once it fails it says software not found.

Im sure i cant be the only person with this problem so i hope it helps someone.

Is your user account an administrator account? I run Vista 64-bit and the installer worked fine. Have you run the game at least once? You have to run regular Titan Quest at least once and then run Immortal Throne once. If none of these works, try reinstalling the game. You have to have regular Titan Quest installed for Immortal Throne to work.

I see you got it to work while I was typing this. Still you should do as I suggest about running both games at least once to avoid any issues.
