Language settings...

Right, so I have this game, had it for a while, never really played it.

Decided to run the game today, because hey, why not, I used to love it when I was younger so I thought I'd give it a go.

Turns out the game is in my native tongue, Dutch. *shudders*

does anyone know of a way to get steam to let me play it in English? I found somewhere a /lang=enu on the interwebs, but not been able to get that to work, either through a custom shortcut I add through steam, or in steam itself.

I also really would like to know if there is a way to change the default language. There is apparently a way to change the language by creating a link and using the parameter LANG=ENU in the retail version, but this doesn't seem to work in the steam version.

vay2k10 almost got it. Just right-click the game in your steam library, and hit "properties". Then click "Set launch options..." and add "/LANG=ENU" (without " but don't forget the /). That worked for me. You can also use DEU for German, NLD for Dutch, ITA for Italian, ESP for Spanish, and FRA for French.
