How to remove Battlefield 3 Beta from Origin?
I uninstalled the Battlefield 3 Beta through the control panel's "uninstall a program" feature. However, I can still see the Battlefield 3 Beta showing up in my games list in Origin. How do I remove it from my games list permanently?

No idea, I haven't been able to get rid of the alpha or beta listing.

you can remove it by contacting the support, because you activated it with a key. But I've read on one forum that it's better to keep them because when they see you participated in alpha and beta it raises your chances to be chosen to other potential betas in the future

Okay, I got the game removed by contacting support. They also gave me a 15% discount code.

What difference does it make on whether or not the thing shows up in your list of games? I am just curious as to why this would be an issue?

What Origin needs (which I haven't looked for) is a favorites list that works like steams. Or a grouping ability of some kind. |

There is a favorites list in Origin. Right-click a game, and the menu should have an Add option.

Head over to: "C:\ProgramData\Origin\InstalledGames.xml"
Search for Game GameID="71171" and change "hidden="0"" to "hidden="1"" No more BF3 beta in origin (you need to restart origin) |

Mine didn't have it, so I added manually added the "<Game gameID="71171" lastPlayed="1317153909" hidden="1" favorite="0"/>" line, and that did it, thanks!

right under "my games" tab, on the "show" drop down list, select "ready to play" and your uninstalled beta won't show up anymore. it's the same feature in steam where you only show installed games
