Press "Play," nothing happens. Game won't start.

When I press Play in steam, or try to launch the application directly from my steamapps directory, I get an idle Magic 2012 process in my task manager but that's it. Nothing happens. No error message, game never launches.

I've seen some help files suggest editing a config file in the game folder, but no such file exists. Any help?

Right click on the steam listing. Click properties. Local Files. Verify integrity of the game cache. This will check your game files and redownload ones that are missing.

Did that, it says one file was missing and will be redownloaded, every single time I do it. Nothing changes, still nothing happens when I press Play.

Try rebooting. Installer might be hung in the background.
