Adblock/Noscript for IE9?

Hi, I recently started using IE9 as my main browser (find it pretty good) and was wondering if there is anything like Adblock (prreferale) or Noscript for the browser?

Thanks, and please no browser wars

I highly doubt it as its not as popular, and IE hasn't been know to use 3rd Party scrips/addons/extensions on it, but if I hear otherwise, I'll be sure to let you know.

That works as an Adblock.

Not trying to start a war, but is there a reason why you DON'T want to use Chrome or Firefox?
Sure, IE9 is 'pretty good', but both Chrome and Firefox are faster and more secure. :S

There are no adblock or noscript extensions for IE9, but you can set a filter to block ad servers, you should google it.

Is there any particular reason you're using IE9? Chrome and Firefox have much easier adblocking methods.

Don't do that. You'll get an immediate response from someone talking about the fact that IE 9 uses a sandbox to help prevent exploits from infecting a system, whereas Firefox still lacks sandboxing functionality.

FYI - I'm a Firefox user, but even I know how IE9 is now reasonably decent compared to the abomination that is IE6.

Chrome >>

Install Chrome.
Search "Adblock" in extensions.
Add extensions.
Restart Chrome.

BAM, Adblock that even blocks Youtube Ads.

Mind you, it's incompatible with IE9.

No one said that IE9 is insecure, just less secure.

I don't see anyone here saying its insecure, but it would be foolish to say its more secure than firefox.

On topic: no op, ie9 has no functionality for adblock. Please consider switching browsers
