Beyond good and evil factory glitch

I just bought this game and I'm up to the part when I have to save Pey'j from the loading dock. Ive finished my report but when I take a picture of the code next to the loading dock door the governor tells me she sent the code but I'm not getting it. Any help?

You have to press tab or esc (cant remember which) and check your e-mail from the in game menu to get the code. She e-mails it to you.
