Nano catalyst resets when I start game.

As far as I can tell every time I restart the game my nano catalyst count resets to 0. It doesn't do it when I reload after dieing but always does if I completely relaunch the game.

Good call! I noticed the same exact thing yesterday when i reloaded the game. A bit of a pain cus I had over 4000 nano crystals I was saving. I'm sure it'll be fixed...just hope sooner than later.

Same here. Im guessing it has something to do with that quote from the Be Fast trailer.

"Enjoy this power while you have it, for one day, it will be reclaimed."

ATTN CRYTEK: This is a serious bug for the SP and needs to be fixed immediately.

Has anyone at Crytek acknowledged it yet?

A friend said you lose 800 every time you exit Crysis 2 and resume your campaign. I dunno what's fact but I definitely have 0 now when I had some before. So basically I can't play the game if I want to upgrade the suit at all. Because if it crashes or I have to quit for whatever reason, all that nano catalyst I've earned is gone.

I lost over a thousand (1200 I think) last time I restarted to test it. I basically gave up on single player til it is fixed since I play mostly in small time increments so I will never beable to buy any upgrades.

I just lost 1700 nano catalyst. And not only that. Now i can't gather any more catalyst. It stays at zero. Tried loading previous saves but didn't work.

You can definitely lose a lot more than 800 points. I just lost over 7000. Mind you, I'd been playing 10 hours straight yesterday and hoarding points compulsively in all fights, so I already have the 3 most expensive upgrades bought and paid for so it wasn't the end of the world for me, but still. I'd have probably gone ballistic and resorted to using a trainer if it had happened at an earlier point in the game, seeing as I'm playing on the highest difficulty and needed the points for that stealth upgrade desperately.

Anyway, after losing what points I had I too have had my pointcounter stuck at 0, despite collecting an additinal 3500 or so points worth of samples. No idea how to get it working again, which is pretty annoying :\

I found that I killed a walker -- after all the power goes out and they tell you to buy them some time- I had about 7k nano points and picked up the 2000 for the kill and had 0 points next time i looked -- not sure it had any thing to do with re-starting the game as the Nano counter is stuck at zero although i did end the game at that point. But thought I'd mention it. might be 2 separate bugs with the Nano Catalyst. Are you guys able to collect Nano points again?

Nope..only able to collect if I go back, but then how is that possible when I cant even load a previously saved game of my choosing before I lost all those nano points. Fracking auto-save checkpoint BS.

Not only do all of my points reset every time I resume my campaign, but I can't even collect points until some kind of scripted event happens. I'll walk over dead bodies, it'll say I've collected 100 or some odd points but when I open the menu to purchase upgrades it still says 0 nano points.

On restart I think its setting the nano points to a minus value rather than it needing a scripted event to start it working again, I think its somewhere in the region of -800 on restarting the game.
