does steam support answer on weekends?

this fraud ticket has been going on since Christmas and i only have until feb 1st to get it sorted otherwise the money gets sent back to me and i lose the account

this is worrying me. they haven't responded to me and i only have 10 days left. i don't want to lose my games

The response time varies according to the number of open support tickets submitted before yours and the quality of information in your ticket.


If you have more to add, edit the ticket rather than submit a new one as that only slows the process but it does NOT put you back to the end on the line as some people suggest.

well i edited my ticket 5 times since the 14th but i did reopen my ticket the 20th so maybe that's why?

Probably. Keep your eye on your email and the support ticket itself on the support pages so when they do answer, you can get back to them immediately.

They don't work holiday weeks. When the christmas sale was going on they had a purchase block on my account and I couldn't buy anything the entire sale. After the sale was over i got a reply finally and they said they blocked me and had just removed it now. I asked for the deals that were available before and they said they can't.

Wrong. Got the same issue and they answer me in less than 24h and the answer was the 25th december!
