I bought the kids pack for my little brother and plan to play it together with him.
But what are some other good games for kids around 6 yrs of age?

Bad attempt at social satire. Or just a really useless comment.

Looking threw my own list I see Bob Came in Pieces, Toki Tori, Plants vs Zombies, PB Winterbottom, The Maw, Viva Pinata.
I plan on grabing Braid and Eversion at some point as they're both on sale now along with some of the above games.

Platformers and music games seem like a safe bet. Although I wouldn't recommend hard games like Dark Void Zero or Meat Boy.

BTW, I bought these games for myself and I'm 21.

My sons 6 and I just picked him up Commander Keen, Zombie Driver, Jolly Rover, Monkey Island, Petz Catz/Dogz, Torchlight and Zero Gear. I haven't heard a peep from him since.

I would recommend Jolly Rover. That's great for kids, and it has little jokes in it that are geared towards adults but are hard to pick up on (kids won't see it. Kids shows do this a lot). It's a great adventure game and makes you think too.

Plants vs. Zombies is a very good game too. It's a family strategy game that is a LOT of fun. You use plants to keep all different kinds of zombies from entering your home.

I would suggest looking into all the PopCap games actually. They're kid friendly, and really fun.
