Playing on a PC - only xbox controller setup in the settings?
I am so confused. I purchased this for my pc, but when I go to the settings to set up the keyboard settings, all there is is an xbox controller. Where do I set up the settings for a keyboard.
I certainly dont remember ever seeing the option of whether to purchase for an xbox or a pc, so now I am jarateed that I may have spent money on a game that only has settings for an xbox???? HELP! |

Funny thing is... its not even a setup. It just tells you what the controls are.
lol. |

Yes this is a huge problem, but the game is just so good and pretty good configured already, it's really not a waste of money.

I would post screenshots however it appears the game doesnt even allow you to do THAT much.
And I guess I am the most ignorant person on the planet then cuz as far as I am concerned it is NOT straightforward on how to manuver while in game. I get something that seems to look like icons that pop up, but what the heck does the icon mean? I am getting attacked and some more icons show up in game, and apparently I am supposed to be doing something but I have no idea what I am supposed to click or what key I am supposed to be hitting. I got as far as getting eaten in the kitchen and the little girl over the walky talky "are you dead?" Yeah. Dead to this game. what a waste. I wonder if I can give it away even though I have played some of it. |

Yea they tell u in-game (at the top/left) what to press for KB/MS when u'r starting out.
If you still need to know, here are the KB/MS buttons. > WASD (or arrow keys) for walking/movement. > Q and E keys are basic function keys. Which will always show up on-screen when at the time they're needed. > Mouse is used for looking around and clicking/scrolling on actions. Like talking, etc. > Left Click is the primary action button > Scroll Wheel is for action selections. Like when you hover over an object, NPC, Zombie; there might be multiple action options depending on game progression and your inventory items. > 12345 keys are for your quick-action selections. They work in place of the scroll wheel function. If you are using a game controller, you may need an Xbox360 emulator app/plugin for your non-360 controller to work, depending on your controller and whether or not it can act as a native "Xbox360 Controller for Windows". For such an emulator, look at using X360-CE There is also a game option within Walking Dead that allows you to toggle "Xbox360 on-screen controls". Which u may want enabled if using a controller. Otherwise turn it off. |

They do this in a lot of games, especially EA ones. NBA 2k12 just assumed you were a ps3, lmao. Pretty lazy porting, honestly...
