Good find!
Hopefully it's not just a rhetorical remark. Or, I hope they're talking about the near term! Last edited by smash: 09-17-2011 at 04:51 PM. |

I'm guessing more like the jump from HL1 to HL2 (Source is a heavily modified GoldSrc engine, am I right?). At least I'm hoping for that. Yet Gabe has repeatedly said they're not working on Source 2.

I want to see how CS:GO will look like. This pretty much confirms they are make the Source Engine much better to improve the eyesore of a game that is CSS.

Anyway, CS has never been about graphics, its about the gameplay. I think this could be related to the better map editor etc that they were talking about. |

Your probably right, an improved SDK has been asked about quite a bit. I think they meant that its going to become even more flexible. Last edited by CombineFrieza: 09-17-2011 at 07:26 PM. |

I find myself wondering if Valve's statement means a project that's about to be started or about to be implemented.

keep telling yah, dx8 has just dropped off, as eric said they got a core team of 30.
That's more than what the probably had making the engine in the first place. I can only get excited at this point....... Don't start fantasizing Boff, if eveyone has been stating ep3 comes out next year, then I myself have predicted the hdr update for HL2 and aweseome shadowing in the engine is always coming out "next year" since 2005 for me. |
