An option to delete steam cloud files.
Prob been said many times before, but why don't we have that option.
I'm trying to play oblivion, and i made a few saved games. So i went to where oblivion puts the save files and del a few of them. But everytime i exit steam and re-boot steam up it puts the damn files back there wtf. I don't want them back hence why i del them in the first place. So plz sort out steam to del the old saves when exiting the game and put the new ones up,or give us the option to clean the slate and re-upload them. Steam cloud is a good idea, but atm it also so annoying. i had to disable steam cloud for the game, but i really did not want to do that. Last edited by T@F: 08-12-2011 at 02:07 AM. |

This would be very handy for Torchlight as Torchlight has a problem with mods.
That is, if you forgot to delete your character after you remove the mod you'll get an error most of the time. Steam cloud puts the save files back there after you remove them. Thus you get a never ending loop of crashed Torchlight until you get all the right mods back. Which sometimes isn't as easy as it sounds. Maybe they have fixed that but if they haven't this would be very handy. __________________ Information on VAC and our Steam forum rules. Please follow the rules, it ain't hard. |

In the mean time can't you untick the "Enable steam cloud sync for this game". At least then the saves on hard disk are the only ones in use

I'm not sure if it's how it works with steam but on my new phone if you disable the cloud synch it deletes the files on the cloud. Out of curiosity, have you tried re-enabling cloud synch for oblivion after deleting the files?
