Game just flashes black and returns me to desktop

I tried the demo on steam, the demo from their site, and I even bought the game - it always does the same thing on startup - flashes the screen black for a second then returns me to desktop. I emailed support with my dxdiag file and am waiting to hear back. Machine is a MBP running bootcamp XP, 2 gigs RAM, GeForce 8600.

Ideas?

Never mind, upgraded my NV drivers, now it works! Thanks!
